An Entrepreneurial Journey by Kathleen Van den Berghe

Kathleen Van den Berghe will host a wine tasting zoom session on June 10, 18h for Women on Board members. 
She will tell about her entrepreneurial journey experienced at Chateau de Miniere and Chateau de Suronde, 2 wine estates in Loire Valley, where she makes a large range of organic wines and has also developed tourism, lodging, an artist residence, and much more.

She will explain to us the tastes and senses of the following 2 wines. 

• Château de Minière 2017 and Création de Suronde 2018 two examplarary wines for these 2 domains
  • Chateau de Miniere is 100% Cabernet Franc, made from 50-60-year-old stems on the slopes of  AOP Bourgueil, a wine that can be conserved in large wooden oak vats.
  • Creation de Suronde is 100% Chenin Blanc, a dry white wine made in the heart of the Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru, wine with much complexity and finesse

To be able to taste these wines you can order them for 42€ (shipping within Belgium) on Kathleen’s website and they will be delivered to you before the wine tasting session.
