At the GA of 10 June 2021 we were all thrilled with the record number of appointments of members of Women on Board: 107 new nominations at a board, board committee or advisory committee.
At this moment, a new year of selection processes for new board members starts in the world of companies and associations. It’s an opportunity for each of you to contribute to more gender-diverse boards. Whenever you are informed about a vacancy for a board, think ‘Women on Board’ and contact us. We are available to send a personal message with a Call for Candidates to our members.
Women on Board, with more than 300 members, constitutes a tremendous pool of knowledge, expertise and experience. Let’s support these talents by promoting Women on Board as a pool of qualified board members!
Together with organisations such as Women in Finance, the Diversity Managers Association of Belgium and many other female top executives from different companies and sectors, the website and the Inclusive Panels charter were created.
The aim: to raise awareness of the importance of diverse panels in terms of gender, age and background.

Welcome Thibaut Georgin
After strong support from Francois Blondel for many years as a board member of Women on Board, he has handed over his seat to Thibaut Georgin. The board wishes to thank Francois for his dedication in building WoB up very much from the start.
Thibaut Georgin is strategic business consultant at Igneos a management consulting company leading sustainable transformation plans for companies.
Graduated from Solvay business school at ULB and holding a strategic marketing degree from Columbia University (NY), Thibaut worked as a management executive for Unilever and Bpost then as a consultant for different large companies around strategic questions in a variety of sectors (Telco, Energy, Bank, BtoB services, retail). Very concerned about climate deregulations, environmental issues and societal challenges, he developed since 2012 a broad expertise on how top management could adapt and transform their businesses to create sustainable/regenerative value for people, society AND shareholders. Thibaut was active in different boards of companies in environmental and energy topics (SPGE, Brugel, Energiris) and is now board Chairman at SNCB-NMBS. He is teaching at UNamur and ISES. He is also actively engaged as a volunteer in Ecopreneur-Belgium, the business federation of sustainable front running SME. He is a happy father of a young adult. He likes long-distance walks in nature, is an experienced sailor. He is also an intensive user of public transports and of his Ahooga bike for professional purposes.
Women on Track Program 2021-2022
A new program for Women on Track starts on 28 October 2021, sponsored by Diamond Corporate Partner PWC Belgium. We create a community of ‘Women on Track’, members of Women on Board, directors at PWC and managers at Golden Corporate Partner NN. Together we will read the book “Making your way, de hobbelige weg naar succes en geluk in leven en werk” by Marion Debruyne & Katleen De Stobbeleir. We will have contacts with experienced board members of Women on Board, partners of PWC and members of the executive committee of NN, both corporate partners. Based on our insights and discussions, Women on Track will grow professionally, enjoy a networking opportunity and reflect on a role as a potential future board member.
