Dear members and partners,

Looking back at 2023 there are many reasons to wave it out with a smile. Women on Board counts 342 members, they were appointed in 74 new mandates. We are proud to have 26 corporate partners and 2 others on their way to join us in 2024. 

Our first mission stays to be the answer to the question ‘where can I find strong candidates for my board’? That’s why we focus on collaborating with the corporate partners, with the executive search firms and being more visible on LinkedIn and in the media.

We appreciated your wonderful positive feedback on the events we organised together with Liedekerke (on the women on boards directive), SAP (on international board mandates and sustainability in the board), Belfius (the General Assembly), BNPParibas Fortis (on female leadership and the life of Marin Alsop), Deloitte (Cloud Transformation), RTBF and Casa Kafka (on public broadcasting and financing culture), and at the connection walks.

The group of Chairs of a Board enhanced personal connections and exchanges experiences. Women on Track continues to be our yearly program to support potential future board members.

We also connected to the Solvay and Vlerick Business Schools to offer you extremely interesting lifelong learning opportunities.

Thank you to fantastic members, great board, dedicated Admission Committee, a small but good working team. We love the spirit of support and professional friendship co-created together.

To celebrate New Year with our association, we will partner with EcoMatcher to plant 100 trees in Kenia, collaborating with a Kenyan NGO that manages tree nurseries and plants trees while impacting community. + 80% of groups that produce seedlings for them are owned, governed and run by women!

We feel ready for another great Women on Board year!
